Recently, I’ve spent much more time going to and from a coworking office in town so a good bag is essential. Today’s post features a Mia Tui Review of the Maya Backpack, one I chose in Rose Gold.
Mia Tui Review – The Maya Backpack
The Maya backpack is a smaller, fashionable bag made of soft faux leather. It’s neat and compact but fits a surprising amount inside. Complete with clear plastic wallet and an integral drinks holder, the Mia Tui back is way better than I expected.
I’ve been aware of the brand for quite some time but had never seen or used one up close until now. I am very impressed.
There are lots of touches that help the bag stand out from the crowd.
The brightly coloured liner for example. The various pockets and clips for your keys. The design has been thoroughly thought out to be incredibly useful whilst retaining its style and great looks.
As you can see, I chose to try one out in Rose Gold.
I actually wanted a backpack big enough to hold my laptop so I can take it on the train to London, jolly off to my coworking office or if I’m out and about planning to work a little.
It’s not sold as a laptop bag, but with the measurements on the website I was able to ascertain that my slim HP Spectre would fit. And it does!
Width at base 30cm : Width at top 20cm : Height 34cm :Depth 14cm
The quality is definitely there. I’ve been using it multiple times for several weeks now and it still looks as good as new. The zip is well made, the straps feel secure and the fabric is thick and sturdy.
The Mia Tui Maya backpack retails at £42.50 – an ideal price point for the quality of bag, and something I would happily pay.
