Autumn is well and truly upon us and it’s time to check out the best buy coats for the coming winter season. There are some key trends and developments on last year’s popular looks, so let’s dig in and check out some of my favourite finds so far.
Best Buy Coats for Autumn and Winter 2018
When teddy coats became popular last year I really wasn’t sure about them. I’ve softened and warmed to their appeal since then, and do like this longer line style which feels less chunky and bulky than some. A good addition to the best buy coats guide I feel.

I’ve tried this on and it’s incredibly flattering, well done M&S. Sold as part of the Holly Willoughby edit, it’s selling out fast, but available in other colours too. I particularly love the burgundy and navy, plus the green tweed. Great price for a wool blend coat.

This beautiful faux fur coat from Warehouse has been in all the mags and doing the rounds on Instagram – and quite rightly so. Don’t be afraid to wear leopard, make a statement and turn some heads. There’s no better way to do it than in a faux fur long coat too. An essential addition to the best buy coats guide.

The most expensive coat in the post today, this glorious check coat from Boden ticks lots of boxes for me. Love the fur colour (detachable I think) and the longline look. Mostly though I love how warm it looks – I love a good, toasty coat.

As it’s my birthday soon I feel the need for a new coat and this one is really catching my eye. I must try it on! Love the double breasted fit, the length and the wearable colour too; it just had to be included in the best buy coats guide. Great one, H&M.

Puffers are great for the school run, weekend fun and general casual wear. I’m loving this updated take on the usual Zara puffer with its shine finish, and yellow fur edged hood. Great with dressed down jeans and boots.

You can’t beat a camel coat for the autumn and winter, particularly if you’re the right colouring, and this one has that easy to wear wrap, and the larger collar drawing attention to the neck line.
